Corduroy

Corduroy
Cotton fabric (that can also be synthetic) is characterized by increased density. Material feature is having a front side with fluffy streaks, and a smooth back side. Important properties of this fabric are high elasticity, strength, and wear resistance. Clothes made of corduroy are excellent for keeping you warm, are nice to touch and highly resistant to wear. An advantage of this material is also its affordable price. Its drawbacks include risk of shrinking and risk of losing its initial appearance if handled inappropriately. In modern production of clothes, several subtypes of corduroy are used, including corduroy, corded velvet and fancy cord.
